HDTV
High Definition TV, a new format for digital TV signal delivery. The existing analog format is called NTSC (National Television Standards Committee).The digital HDTV signal is crystal clear, noise-free, with CD-quality sound, delivered in a cinema-like 16 by 9 aspect ratio with 1080 lines of information instead of the customary 3 by 4 aspect ratio and 480 lines.
